banner, 450×250 cm, 2019
The starting point for the work is a fragment of the W.B. Yeats’ The second coming. Written in a 1919 poem describes the atmosphere of post-war Europe and the beginnings of the Irish War of Independence. I propose to interfere in the fragment of the poem. The change is probably a doomed attempt to call for rebellion and reverse the modern paradigm. The banner arranged in my hometown becomes a meaningless background for everyday life going on there.
